Just in case you were wondering how to fuse Black Frost in Persona3.

Madara

This game was released only in Japan, on the Nintendo Family Computer or Famicom, roughly equivalent to the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in the US. However, it used a special "mapper" and an additional chip not present in the NES, so it took a long time for emulators to be capable of playing it properly.

The translation to English was done by AeonGenesis (AGTP), who I am not affiliated with, but I'll give you a link to their site:

http://agtp.romhack.net/project.php?id=madara - Their Project Page about Madara.

I also did an FAQ for the game, which is still hosted on gamefaqs.com. Read that FAQ for a lot more information about the game. The link is: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/nes/file/579581/46515 (just to make it absolutely obvious).

Sadly, I misplaced my savefiles in a frenzy of data migration, so I haven't beaten the game (yet?)... it is actually rather tedious, even with cheats, so, I don't know when or if I'll finish it.

If you have any questions about the game other than what I already said in the FAQ, then I probably won't be able to answer, since I haven't played it a long time and have no intention to do so, currently.... I hate to leave things unfinished but I have higher priorities.

Full Romaji name: Mouryou Senki Madara

Also know as "Madara 1", since there's a sequel, Madara 2, on the SFC/SNES (translation of which is still in progress, it seems).

On the subjective side, I love the music for this, and the impossible story is nonetheless amusing. It also has dramatic cut scenes! In an 8-bit game!

...and "saving trees", sorta like Revelations:Persona aka "Persona 1".

Two Victories! Ken Dominates Thunder Hawk and Balrog!

I run thru T.Hawk and then Balrog,
playing as Ken.

A little-know fact is that the names of the warriors were, at first, limited to 8 chars for technical reasons.

Or maybe I just made that up.

Anyhow, that's why it's "T. Hawk" and "M. Bison" instead of the full names.

If anyone is actually reading this, leave a comment 'cause I don't think I've ever gotten a diddly squat of feedback on this blog, but I have on the LJ one... but that's how it usually goes.. LJ is a true community, blogspot, err, I dunno, it seems like a place to just post stuff easily but I wonder whether to continue with it.

337 P3 TV SummerTime 13 Re Recruiting

After talking to Shinjiro privately, several times, Akihiko decides to "just do it" and force Shinjiro to join SEES.

Main comes along, but mostly to be silent, as usual.

Game: Persona3
aka P3 aka Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
for Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2)

This occurs on 9 /2 (September 2nd) in the game.

Street Figther 2 Hyper

Capcom made a compilation release called 'Street Fighter : Anniversary Collection" (for PS2), which contains both Street Fighters 3 : 3rd Strike, and a version of Street Fighter 2 which I call "Hyper"; it has the look and feel of Super Street Figther 2 Turbo but has the option to select variations of your character from as far back as World Warrior (i.e. the whole SF2 series).

Anyhow, the difficulty on this game is much higher than the PS1 version of Super Street Figther 2 Turbo (which I also have and was playing earlier), but I was determined to beat it... I only died about 37 times, and I had it on one-round matches, so I clearly need to improve my skills... but I did beat it at Medium, which is equivalent to SNES level 4 for the sake of endings... beating it on there Hardest difficulty might give the best ending, but, I don't think I'll play it for a while.

So, here's a vid of the final match, with me winning with Ken, and his ending.

Hope you enjoyed it... check out my channel for more vids, just search for "street fighter" or "SSF2T" or something like that, in the search box on the video panel of my channel.

Way Too Much Information (MLP)

Well, this is pointless but I have an overload of links which I don't want to bury in my bookmarks.
  • Mod chip stuff: I get scared when my official discs don't boot (sometimes due to dust, but a few have scratched from being lent out or actually dropping accidentially). I find it stupid to have to spend over 420 on a disc whose materials cost less than $1 to produce, probally less than 10 cents, actually, so I'd like to backup my games. Plus I don't actually buy games anymore, I borrow (and lend from my "classic" PS1 library) so I'd rather not scratch anyone's discs... just backup and play. Anyhow, here are the links to the one I want that's in stock for $25 USD or so.
  • I also need a printer. I haven't had my own printer for about 3 years now, maybe more. Well, the broken ones don't count. Anyhow, I'm not sure what to get... Epson, Cannon, HP?
  • This DiscPainter printer thingy looks cool, but I'm sorta concerned about finding cartidges for it.
  • I couldn't afford an Amiga when they were actually being made, but I always wanted a 600HD. Anyhow, the Sega CD used similar technology... sorta... same CPU, anyways. Same as the Neo Geo too, actually.
  • Some nut compiles JVM code from stack to register basis. Well, it's part of the Android stack. Take that, sun! Documentation on the DalvikVM is still incomplete but rev. eng. has already begun.
  • Oh, and... twitter/facebook addicts can now have their very own yoga routine.
  • I don't use twitter (yet?) and am very non-impressed by facebook, esp. since the old evil empire (MicroSoft, for those who don't know) bought it.

Persona 2 : Innocent Sin - Random Clip

Yeah, so, I finally got some footage of Innocent Sin, but it was in such a jury-rigged way that I think the quality really suffered:
